This website is designed and managed by Infinite Recreations. It is assumed that the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Infinite Recreations throughout the entirety of this document. All information, tools and services available from this site is offered to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of the Return and Refund policy stated here.

 

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following Return and Refund policy which is applicable to all users who visit this website.

  1. General Conditions for Returns

1.1. Infinite Recreations shall accept returned products or refund customers in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and its Returns and Refunds Policy set out below.

1.2. All returns should be logged and communicated via email, using admin@infiniterecreations.co.za

1.3. Each return request will be dealt with most importance and our team will try to deliver an efficient returns experience.

1.4. Under no circumstances, will products be accepted for the returns process without prior communication and approval. All items received without approval will be sent back at the clients cost.

1.5. Clients who wish to submit a return request need to do so themselves, Infinite Recreations will not accept returns on behalf of the original customer.

1.6. Customers who submit a return request should provide a receipt notice or proof of purchase to be processed, and items requested to be returned should be repackaged safely and securely including all additional components, accessories, manuals, equipment, and any item received as part of the order.

1.7. Infinite Recreations reserves the right to accept returns that are in their original brand new unused condition. If shipping packaging is damaged the customer will be responsible to safely and securely package the product/order. Products/orders that have seals to enclose specific parts should be in its original condition and not tampered with.

1.8. If you return a product and the packaging or product has been unnecessarily damaged or defaced, the return may be rejected. This includes placing labels, tape or writing on the packaging/product.

1.9. All digital products, including design files, coupons, or any other digitally transferred products are unfortunately not eligible for return or refund. 

1.10 We reserve the right to assess all return requests case-by-case and refunds are not always guaranteed.

1.11. Infinite Recreations does not ship internationally and therefore will not consider any return requests made outside South Africa.

1.12. Customers are encouraged to inspect the shipment before opening the box/parcel to ensure that there was no tampering during transit. Should anything be noticed, the client is encouraged to contact Infinite Recreations immediately and before further handling the package.

  1. Unwanted or Incorrect Products

2.1. Should customer wish to return an unwanted or incorrect product, the customer may contact us to us for a refund, credit, replacement, or exchange, provided:

2.1.1. The product(s) is/are undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached.

2.1.2. It is in the original product packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact.

2.1.3. It is not missing any accessories, manuals or parts;

2.1.4. You log the return request within 7 days of delivery or collection of the unwanted product(s).

2.1.5. The item is ready for collection when shipping has been arranged for delivery of the product(s) back to Infinite Recreations

2.1.6. Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in your return being refused.

2.1.7. Incorrectly supplied products are deemed to be accepted by the customer after 7 days from delivery and returns will no longer be considered in such cases.

  1. Defective Products

3.1. Infinite Recreations has a strict quality control process to ensure that the products we deliver to you are as described, of good quality, in working order and without defects. A product which is defective (damaged,faulty), shall be considered for the return and refund process should it meet the other conditions as stipulated in sections 1 and 2.

3.2. For custom design manufacturing, the Infinite Recreations team will engage with the client to obtain approval of the design based on its intended use BEFORE the manufacturing process begins. In this case, should the product be deemed not suitably durable, Infinite Recreations will engage the customer to find a solution for replacement. Should the customer provide approval and the manufactured product be used outside its intended purpose upon which it was designed for, then Infinite Recreations reserves the right to decline any return or refund request. These cases will be handled on a case-by-case manner and the Infinite Recreations will require a report of what happened, images, and the defective part to conduct a thorough investigation.

3.3. Products may not be returned as defective, unless the product supplied is either incorrect, unsafe, or found to be damaged or faulty upon delivery. 

3.4. The following causes and or conditions listed below are not regarded as defects (faults/damage/aesthetic preference) and will not warrant a return or refund:

3.4.1. Defects because of normal wear and tear.

3.4.2. Defects caused by negligence, user abuse, misuse, or incorrect usage of the product.

3.4.3. Defects caused by electrical surges, fluctuations, or incorrect power supply.

3.4.4. Defects as a result of corrosion such as exposure to sea air or other environmental factors.

3.4.5. Defects caused by liquids or water.

3.4.6. Defects caused by failure to adequately care for the product.

3.4.7. Defects caused by unauthorized alterations or modifications to the product.

3.4.8. Any repairs, modifications or alterations of the product by a third party.

3.4.9. Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

3.4.10. Defects through handling, unboxing and/or repackaging.

3.4.11. Defects caused by infestation of insects / pests or by a superior force (vis major)

3.5. Should any of the conditions listed through 3.4.1 to 3.4.11be met we reserve the right to reject the return and bill the client for the shopping and assessment charge incurred.

  1. Collection and Return Shipping Costs

4.1. For defective or incorrectly supplied products, Infinite Recreations will cover the costs of collection and return shipping only if the request is submitted in the first 7 days from the date of purchase.

4.2. For unwanted products, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.

4.3. If the customer is unable to return the product to the original delivery address due to any reason whatsoever, the customer will be liable for the shipping fees that Infinite Recreations will arrange for collection.

4.4. All products that have been approved for return to Infinite Recreations should be properly packaged and secured to ensure that the products are not damaged in transit. Any product that arrives damaged at Infinite Recreations will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s cost.

4.5. Products requested for return after the 7 day period will be considered on a case-by-case manner and should the return be approved, the customer will be liable for any shipping, assessment, or restocking fees that may apply at the discretion of Infinite recreations.

5 Assessment Period for Return of Defective Products

5.1. Infinite Recreations aims to assess the returned product as soon as possible to ensure the case may be handled as promptly and efficiently as possible.

5.2. We aim to resolve all returns within 10 days and contact will be made with the customer should we require more time.

5.3. We ensure that all claims processes will be handled as best as possible to complete the request within the allotted time

  1. Promotions and sales product returns

6.1. All requests of products that are purchased during a promotion or sale will be refunded at the promotion or sale price should the product meet all the criteria as listed throughout the return and refund policy.

6.2. Products that are purchased as part of a bundle cannot be returned individually, and should accompany all products part of the bundle. Each part of the bundle in the return will be subject to the return criteria as stipulated in the return and refunds policy. Should any single product not meet the criteria, Infinite Recreations reserves the right to refuse the return on the entire bundle of products

6.3. Products that have been ordered during a once-off special or promotion that have been requested to be returned or refunded shall be handled on a case-by-case matter. Should the returns and refund policy be met, these products will not be replaceable if the product is no longer available on the website and all attempts to repair the product (if deemed defective) will be done with no guarantees.

  1. Assessment and Restocking Fees

7.1. Infinite Recreations reserves the right to charge a restocking fee in certain cases when a product is returned for a refund or exchange. This fee will not exceed 20% of the cost of the price the product was purchased at.

7.2. Infinite Recreations reserves the right to charge a restocking fee in certain cases when a product is returned for a refund or exchange. This fee will be charged at 10% of the price the product was purchased at and will be capped to R175.

7.3. Both restocking and assessment fees will be communicated directly with the customer before the process starts.

  1. Refunds and Credits

8.1. If a return is approved and you request a refund, the refund will be available as store credit from the date of the return approval.

8.2. Should the customer prefer that the credit be loaded onto a digital coupon, the customer is encouraged to communicate this to the Infinite Recreations team

8.3. Should the customer request a payout of this credit, such a payout will be processed within 10 business days and payments will only be made to the account that was used to purchase the product(s).

8.4. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the credit details supplied are accurate and Infinite Recreations will not be liable for the consequences of any errors or omissions by the customer

8.5. No return of any product will be considered after 6 months.
